Elected to the Board 2010.

At 17, Bernard attended Elam School of Fine Art. Four years later, in 1969, he and his wife, Maureen, returned to Russell ‘because it was home’.

Bernard, Maureen and their son Lukas have lived and traveled in north and mid USA twice, being away from home for three and a half years. Maureen studied art therapy in 1991 which also took them away from Russell.

A community minded person, Bernard has been an early member of the Russell Boating Club, St. Johns Ambulance and the Russell Fire Brigade. He has experience in construction, landscaping and art.

Trustee focus: Bernard wants to put something back into the community since he is now retired and living in Russell.
