Jane Hindle - co-opted to the Trust Board in 2007.
Jane has been involved in the ICT industry for the past 26 years, in both the design of end user networks and Telco networks, specialising in data communications. She has been a board member of TUANZ, the Telecommunications Users Association of NZ for the past 10 years, and has been heavily involved in the Policy committee with a focus to ensure regional and rural users are represented.
Jane is a trustee of Enterprise Northland, the region’s Economic Development Agency with a portfolio of ICT. She is also Executive Trustee of the R. Tucker Thompson Sail Training Trust, and a volunteer for the local St John ambulance service.
Russell Museum's principal aim is to preserve and reflect the history of Russell and its immediate area. With the opportunities now available through technology to digitise and catalogue these treasures, Jane's focus is to ensure that the Museum makes best use of these tools.
